Giuseppe Mazzini was an Italian patriot and revolutionist. A major figure in the making of modern Italy. Along with Giuseppe Garibaldi, Camillo Benso di Cavour, and Victor Emman uel II, Mazzini is considered one of the "patron saints" of the Italian Risorgimento.
